2010: The Year Of The Whore/Homewrecker/Hoe (& why 2011 needs to be reclaimed by Wives & real women EVERYWHERE)

Oh yes I did.

I am pretty sure as of this very moment I am incurring the wrath of my fellow light skinned, mixed breed women all over the world/United States/wherever you are reading this...but it needs to be addressed & it needs to b e addressed immediately:

2010 was the year that the hoe/homewrecker/other woman/whore stood up (& bent over).

I don't care what anyone says & I've had this very conversation with friends, colleagues, even my own husband.

I'm posting pictures of Kat Stacks & Alicia Keys together as the chief celebrity leaders of this movement. To me, they're one in the same. I guess the only difference is that Kat hasn't knowingly messed with married men & she's been exposing all the single ones, although she has made it clear that she doesn't respect the institute of marriage or any other seriously committed relationship, if it's going to further her means of success. Alicia pretty much threw caution & good morals to the wind & figured since SHE'S Alicia Keys, she can have whatever & whoever she wants.

And they are by no means the only ones guilty of this: Gabrielle Union, Fantasia "I'll attempt suicide so they'll forgive me" Barrino, and even Lauryn Hill have all adopted these attitudes & ways of living. While women are so ready to take to task a non-celebrity woman for this type of behavior, nobody has really said anything addressing this trend of Black female celebrity whorism.

Of course you'll have the first people jumping up & reminding us to not just blame the woman, but to also blame the man. Of course. Swizz beats, Dwayne Wade, the little T-Mobile boy & Rohan Marley should definitely be held accountable for their male whorisms, but they are not the spokespeople of those relationships. They are not the stars of the drama. They are not out there encouraging others to do the same things that they do...but Kat Stacks is constantly making viral videos about the next dude she's going to prostitute herself for, encouraging her followers to do the same thing. licia Keys made "The Element of Freedom" as the soundtrack for homewreckers anywhere to justify her cause. It was like she was saying, It's okay to break up a marriage as long as you are both in love. Fantasia lied about her relationship (although she tatted the guys name on breast. Really Tasia?) and then feigned a suicide attempt to take the edge off, joking about it a few days later. As far as Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade, they publicly came out the day after he got divorced, and I sometimes give Wade a little more credit because Siovaughn is truly out of her mind. But I can't say if she went crazy before or after he started with Union.

The fact of the matter is, although Superhead was the first one to write a book about her exploits, these "other" women still stayed behind the scenes. They didn't come forth like Lazarus until this year. It really seems like in 2010, hoes stood up. It really started, in my opinion, with this ray of sunshine here:

Ahhh yes, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee. More like Bomb Shelter, if you ask me.

When she came out as the proud mistress of Jesse James, Sandra Bullock's now ex husband, not only did she have ZERO shame about it, but she went on to become the spokeswoman for AshleyMadison.com, a website that encourages people to have affairs. Seriously? Oh yes. And after her a plethora of females came out the woodwork to jump on the ISleptWithJesseJames Bandwagon. On a personal note I've seen this guy & the only thing that looks appealing on him is his bankcard. This guy is straight up ugly--and while his wife was out working, he felt neglected enough to sleep with all of the women in California. Good job smart one.

Holding it down on the East Coast for the male hoes was Tiger Woods. I refuse to devote more than a slight paragraph about Tiger Woods but I can't, in good taste, talk about Jesse James & NOT Tiger Woods. On a certain level, Tiger's main sin other than cheating on his wife with multiple women is that he was pretty much the last positive public image of a wealthy, decent Black man (yes I'm aware he's mixed but, like me, no one has mistaken Tiger for Asian or White lately). Not only did Tiger destroy it, he pretty much shot a birdie right through it. And most Black women I know were mad because every single solitary one of his mistresses were white. Not even Latina. But I mean, hey...its about preference right?

But having given a huge nod to the opposition by outing the main male hoes of 2010, I'm going to swing back to the female side.

What upsets me most about Alicia Keys specifically is because you can't just like her as an Artist...she's a humanitarian, for crying out loud. In her picture in the beginning of this post, she is a beautiful, majorly pregnant, glowing orb of immense beauty, talent, poise & intelligence. She has fought tirelessly for many charitable causes. All of this wonderfulness & she wastes it on Swizz Beats...who looks nothing less than a stretched out light skinned Tweet Bird, in my opinion. Swizz Beats who is spreading his seed globally with at least 2 children born to women while he was in a relationship and/or married to Mashonda, and now you can add he & Alicia's impending spawn to that number. On Vibe.com Mashonda laid out how she fought for her relationship until she realized there was no reason to fight because he was done. On a certain level, one can say, well of course, who WOULDN'T leave their wife for Alicia Keys? I guess. But why is it that someone like Alicia Keys would write these powerful anthems for independent, strong, wonderful women but then think so less of herself as to settle for playing second fiddle for a married man. And now she glows because she is now his wife...but ask Mashonda how much good that did her? And if Swizz decides he's in love with, oh, I don't know, Kat Stacks, tomorrow & impregnantes her, then what song will Alicia sing then? That of his 2nd bitter ex-wife? What is it specifically about her (other than the fact that she is THE Alicia Keys) that makes her think she's his end all, be all?

And having brought her up, I'll end this tirade with Kat Stacks herself--2010's Superhead for Generation Y, if you will. While I do not know her to knowingly have sex with married men, I wouldn't put it past her. She's been outed as a fraud pertaining to certain celebrities she's claimed, while simultaneously destroying the reputations of those that she was able to verify (see: Soulja Boy Snort 'Em). No self-respecting artist would allow her within a mile of them...with that cell phone in hand...if they were smart. Kat is a groupie who saw an opportunity to update the formula started by Superhead. Superhead wrote books...Kat Stacks utilizes the internet. YouTube made Soulja Boy famous & World Star Hip Hop's new Queen is Kat Stacks. Now she's booked to host parties (shout out to Club Rain in Phoenix for NOT buying into the hype & NOT paying her that money) and is constantly on her Twitter where oddly enough she has her own groupies & mindless disciples who eat up every piece of advice she gives, such as the kind of oral sex to give your man to keep him happy & reminding all the females that their men secretly wanna have sex with her (#1 If it's a secret, then it's a shame & #2 My husband in particular thinks you're ugly). The point is she's turned hoeing into pimping & has made selling her body a popular & trendy form of coming up in the Recession. She is notoriously lazy & brags on eating Hot Wings & drinking liquor daily. Tapes of her getting slapped up are more popular than those of her talking about people & her detractors (shoutout to Natalie from the Bad Girls Club) are taking accurate shots & asking correct questions about the self-proclaimed "Most hated woman in media".

The point of this all boils down, once again, to the fact that in 2011, legitimate women need to stand up & take back the focus. I, personally, don't want my daughter growing up idolizing someone like Kat Stacks nor a hypocrite like Alicia Keys. We have to be the change we wish to see and show right from wrong. Kat Stacks is a media monster. If the internet went down tomorrow she'd kill herself. This zero is made a hero because, like she says, people love to hate her. Don't waste your time. Alicia Keys has made her money. When she drops that baby she could drop from the public eye completely and still be fine. The point is, real women, wives, need to be the ones dominating the air waves, and being the examples for our daughters and nieces. If we don't, then when your daughter wants to dress like Kat Stacks for Halloween this year, or when she ends up on YouTube talking about the last 10 guys she's screwed around with, or when she introduces her newly divorced boyfriend she's been dating for the last year, then you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

2010 is about to be over. In 2011, Wives, Fiancees, Girlfriends...stand up & make these hoes sit down.

Peace & Love,
Jaz
